Experienced Residential Electrician / Journeyman

Rocktown Electric LLC is growing, and we are looking for a reliable, skilled professional to join our team servicing the Shenandoah Valley!

The Role & Schedule

  • What you’ll do: Mostly residential service and renovations (70%), with some residential new construction (25%), and occasional light commercial service work (5%).

  • Independence: You’ll be trusted to run jobs independently and will be provided a company service van.

  • The Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM.

  • Service Area: Proudly serving the Shenandoah Valley from Mount Jackson to Waynesboro, and Shenandoah to Hinton.

What We Offer

  • Competitive Pay: $25.00 - $38.00 / hour (depending on experience).

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience: A licensed Journeyman is preferred, but we are also open to an experienced, upper-level apprentice who knows their stuff and can work confidently on their own.

  • Familiarity with:

    • Residential code requirements

    • Home wiring including three-ways and switch drops

    • Service upgrades & panel changes

    • Basic troubleshooting

    • Various raceways - EMT, PVC, liquidtight, wiremold, etc.

  • Core Values: High character, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to quality craftsmanship.

  • Physical Ability: You’re comfortable working on your feet, climbing ladders, and navigating tight spaces like attics or crawl spaces with ease; occasional heavy lifting
